On Location Portrait Sessions

The Session Fee of $150.00, includes: a Multimedia Slideshow Presentaion DVD
(complete with your favorite music),

 1 (one) 8 x 10 print and your previews posted on a web gallery page.
Ask about hosting a "Portrait Party". If you host a portrait party,
which includes 3 or more groups, your session is free!


Color and Black-and-White photos are available in three ways:

    Custom - Each digital image is fully retouched and corrected to bring out your best.
    Signature Series - Each image begins as a color photo and is then converted to black-and white.  Color is then "painted" into     selected areas.   This is similar to the old hand-coloring technique, but is much more flexible.

    Canvas -Print is mounted and has a canvas texture. These make beautiful

                     Wall-portraits. People will ask “Is that a painting?”

Design your own packages!  For instance, if you want  several sizes of the same print, the first print of the largest one ordered will be at the "1st Print" price, then all other prints, of any size,  will be at the "2nd Print" price.

Commercial Photography Rates
My goal is to provide you with professionally made  images, which will help you sell more of your products!
These rates apply to on-location commercial photography, with digital output.  If you also need prints, see table above.
For your  product shoot I charge an hourly rate,  plus  the image prices listed below.
The hourly rate for studio time is $75/Hour (1.5 Hour Minimum-charged in 30 minute increments).
The  rate for digital post-production is charged per image.

* - Here is how your product becomes an image:
Your products' image, directly from the camera is far from usable, as is.
I shoot in "RAW"  digital format, which is equivalent of a digital "negative".   The image is converted from RAW to TIF (from 12 Megabytes to 35 Mb).  This is the point where I can tweak the image as it is converted....it is if as though I can go back to the original time of shoot and adjust the camera, in the past!
The image is then cropped, adjusted for brightness,color balance,  contrast, saturation...sharpened...any obvious blemishes are corrected.
The image is sized to fit 1024 x 768 ppi @ 72 dpi (will fit  full size on a 17" monitor).
The image is then saved as a JPEG (at the highest quality level) and may be e-mailed or preferably FTP'd to you.


Basic Background Change
This service includes the basic adjustment and cropping above, plus, your product image is cut out of the original background and may be placed on any solid color background, of your choice.

Web-only use
Photos will be sized accordingly at 72dpi for use on web pages.If requested, I'll size the images within a specific size range. Also,if requested, a thumbnail of each photograph will be supplied along with the larger image (size of thumbnail specified by client).

Artwork and Retouching
  Extensive digital manipulation and retouching will be quoted depending on the time required and the amount of work necessary.

Total Package for $29 per shot for small orders.
(We do all the work and send you a CD with master tiff images for your catalogs or print media
and optimized jpg images to load directly to your site!)

Production Rate/Estimate
The time it takes for photos depends on the subject, the difficulty of the shot and the amount of post-production time needed. For example, white background shots take the least amount of time to set up, whereas composing a shot with props takes the most time because each shot has to be arranged and lighted just right in order to get that shot. I usually take multiple shots from different angles with variations in lighting so the best one can be selected. Typically, it takes an hour for each change in set photography (setting up and switching backgrounds) but up to 25 shots per hour can be taken with the same background.

  Your products may be shipped to me.  I'll begin by doing a test setup and e-mailing you a sample and total, for approval before continuing.  Payment should be made, when you place your order (check or PayPal).
